What Did PolMeth Attendees Ask on Verasight’s Nationally Representative Survey?

Identity Traits in Presidential Elections, Minority Politics, and Police Accountability on Verasight’s Free Nationally Representative Omnibus from PolMeth

Verasight partnered with the Society of Political Methodology to offer 2024 PolMeth attendees the opportunity to contribute a free survey question on a nationally-representative survey.

Verasight fields a nationally-representative survey with questions written by conference attendees after each academic and market research conference Verasight attends. Shortly after the conference, we field the survey to our verified community of respondents. We then send researchers the raw data, survey weights, codebook, detailed methodology report, and dynamic HTML report with toplines and crosstabs.

We do this for two reasons:

  1. To allow researchers access to high quality, free data. Our business was built by researchers, for researchers, and we love giving back to the research community. To further support researchers, we archive all non-proprietary data with the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research. Check out our data here!
  2. We want researchers to be able to “try before they buy” and experience our high quality data and deliverables. We sent out this report to attendees from the Society of Political Methodology (PolMeth) conference who submitted a free question at our booth.

It is always exciting to see the insightful questions submitted from researchers, students, postdocs, faculty, and industry experts. Here are just a few of the exciting findings from questions submitted by PolMeth 2024 attendees:

Verasight chart of identity traits in politics

Verasight chart of police accountability perceptions

Verasight chart of minorities' needs

Here is the full report with all of the questions submitted by PolMeth attendees.
