What Did APSA Researchers Ask on Verasight’s Nationally Representative Survey?

Political Views, Climate Change, and More on Verasight’s Free Nationally Representative Omnibus from APSA

Verasight fields free nationally-representative surveys with questions written by conference attendees after academic and market research conferences.

At each conference that Verasight attends, we encourage all attendees who visit our booth to submit a free question to our next nationally representative survey. Shortly after each conference, we field this survey with our verified community of respondents. We then send everyone who submits a question the raw data, survey weights, codebook, detailed methodology report, and dynamic HTML report with toplines and crosstabs.

We do this for two reasons:

  1. To allow researchers access to high quality, free data. Our business was built by researchers, for researchers and we love giving back to the research community. To further support researchers, we archive all non-proprietary data with the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research. Check out our data here!
  2. We want researchers to be able to “try before they buy” and experience our high quality data and deliverables. We sent out this report to attendees from the American Political Science Association conference who submitted a free question at our booth.

It is always exciting to see the insightful questions submitted from researchers, students, postdocs, faculty, and industry experts. Here are just a few of the exciting findings from questions submitted by virtual and in-person APSA 2023 attendees:

Here is the full report with all of the questions submitted by APSA attendees.

Where is this data used? In the past, researchers have written articles, submitted conference papers, and posted on social media with Verasight’s omnibus data. Have an idea for a publication of this data? Reach out to our team, and we’ll be happy to provide you with the raw data, survey weights, and other information you might need to develop your insights. After a short embargo period, the data will be archived and available for public use at the Roper Center
